User Experience Designer, Researcher, Teacher & Leader with 22 years of experience designing web, desktop & mobile technologies and leading creative teams locally & internationally.

A native of Scotland, Elaine Brechin Montgomery relocated to Silicon Valley, California after graduating from The Royal College of Art in 1996. She spent the next few years at the Paul Allen founded think-tank Interval Research, where she developed several internet start-ups during the first internet bubble. From there she spent time consulting at Cooper Design and leading enterprise communication software design at WebEx/Cisco. After a three year stint at Google as a User Experience Design Manager in Apps and Mobile she headed to a new role in Finance at Deutsche Bank as Head of User Experience design for Global Transaction Banking and then Barclays Bank. She returned to hi-tech to join Facebook in 2014 to build their Ads org in London.
